What is Employee Planet TM?
It's a secure Intranet that employees log into to obtain company news and information.
The pages contain staff directory, employee handbook, employee benefits, forms,
and company information. Also, it offers News Feeds, Weather, Traffic, Podcasts,
Opinion Polls, Meeting Room Scheduler, and Instant Messaging features.
How can we implement it for our company?
Employee PlanetTM is hosted by BND Software.
We sit down with each client, determine the features they want, assemble all of
the necessary content, and create a version of Employee PlanetTM
that is unique to them. Each page carries the company's branding. Generally it will
take 3 weeks to customize and launch a new site for a client.
How secure is Employee PlanetTM?
All communications between employees and Employee PlanetTM
are encrypted, using a technology known as SSL (Secure Socket Layer). It means that
passwords, chats, or any communications is not decipherable to anyone other than
these two parties. Also, each employee must use a unique login to access the system.
How is content updated?
Each page has a specific set of web forms and text editors that make it easy for
the administrator to add, delete or edit content. You can easily add a new staff
member, add a News Feed, replace opinion polls, upload documents and forms, and

How is it priced?
We charge a one-time fee to establish your version of Employee PlanetTM,
and then we charge a flat monthly subscription fee. There are no annual contracts.
You are not locked into a set number of months. It is your decision how long you
stay, or when you leave.
